Abby Roberts became active on social media in February 2013, setting up both her YouTube channel and Instagram page. In the ensuing months, she established herself as a prominent experimental makeup artist on several social media platforms. Abby Roberts developed an interest in makeup when she was quite young and started experimenting with it when she was 11 years old. According to her, People often get impressed by her makeup skills. She can transform herself into almost any pop culture character. Some of the earliest looks she recreated on social media were inspired by the fictional Na’vi race from James Cameron’s epic science fiction film ‘Avatar’. On November 1, 2014, she shared on Instagram her Halloween look of the year. In October 2015, she uploaded a video tutorial on YouTube on how to create “half-skull Halloween makeup”. In September 2016, she shared a tutorial on “easy comic book / pop art Halloween makeup”. At one point, she did a Marilyn Monroe for a school art project. Her first viral Instagram post was a video she uploaded in October 2017. In it, she created a Glam Girl Pennywise look. After she started collaborating with Charles, her social media following skyrocketed. This prompted her to become even more daring and experimental.
