Are we really happy with our lifestyle? Most of you will not be able to answer this question instantly with a positive, ‘YES’ and if you take some time to answer then your silence has already answered the question with a screaming ‘NO’. I do not think it is important to slog for 80 hours a week to buy a swanky ‘BMW’ when we can very well travel in an ordinary car too. Since I too Work for a corporate office there was one thing that comedian Joe Rogan said that has made me go into deep introspection and re-think about my goals in life. He said, “We got sidetracked and diverted into these boxes, these cubicles in offices,” “So instead of investing your time in a passion, you’ve sold your life to work for an uncaring machine that doesn’t understand you. That’s the problem with our society. And what’s the reward? Go home and get a big TV.” Sadly, this is exactly how we all are leading our lives; we are not living, rather merely existing. Our lives have become such a drag and it is our choice to shape it the way we want to. Though quitting a successful job for a dream maybe something unreasonable to do but, creating time for your own needs is important. I agree in total with everything that Joe has said in this video.
